FOS teaching artists partnered with the residents of New Life Homes, a mixed-use affordable housing development, to create artwork for the sign located at their complex that was no longer being used for advertising. This project was funded by the Albuquerque Public Arts Board, and though the art workshops began in 2014, the sign was not installed until October 2019. This sign is at the location of the old Sundowner Motel, the site where Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft in 1975.
