“Entre Dos Países” is a digital illustration that pays tribute to the immigrant community in the international district. The international district for years has been home to multiple groups of immigrants and they have remained an essential part of the ID community. While sitting in a conversation with a community organization that supports refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrants in the ID, I reflected on the words that community shared. Although there is so much uncertainty and fear happening in our communities our immigrant community will continue to uplift and hold each other. 

As an immigrant artist, I have always reflected on this idea of calling two places home. The homeland where she was born and the land that has held her while being away from her homeland. This art piece is about belonging.  Migration is a human right.
